Currently 24 weeks pregnant with twins, although I have a really good diet and eat and drink well, I feel as though I’m struggling to get my extra calories, vitamins etc needed for my pregnancy, I have been taking pregnancy multi vitamins, but was wondering if there are any ingredients in my supergreens drink that I shouldn’t have? Iv drunk it for months before pregnancy and it has always helped me stay feeling fantastic, And think it could be of benefit to me. I’ve included the list below.

There is very little specific evidence on safety of Supergreen products in pregnancy.
All the vegetable and fruit components are likely to be safe individually. Some concerns about high concentrations of polyphenols, but no properly conducted trials to establish safety
Best advice is a balanced diet which should include fresh fruit and vegetables.
Multivitamins in late pregnancy are not really necessary , unless you have an absorption or bowel problem. However, it is quite safe to continue on pregnancy multivitamins. However, added Folic Acid is advisable in twin pregnancy, because of the increased demands on your reserves of growing two babies.
As a general rule , you should try and eat for one and not for three. Your body will take what it needs to grow two healthy babies, providing you take in a balanced diet.
