Mr Roger Marwood is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. With 40 years experience in busy NHS hospitals, he has delivered more than 5000 babies and personally supervised around 20 000!  He is also a Senior Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Imperial College.

Roger and his daughter Becca also run Doctor and Daughter’s Guide to Pregnancy and Antenatal Classes in London.

Prof Jim Dornan Is emeritus Chair of Fetal Medicine at Queens University Belfast and Chair Health and Life Sciences at the Ulster University. He was Irish member of the RCOG Council and its Past Senior Vice President. He has published widely on Antenatal Care provision and use of ultrasound in Obstetrics. He is currently President of TinyLife a Perinatal charity he founded almost 30 years ago.

Mr Gangopadhyay has a special interest in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH). He is a renowned speaker and has been invited to speak at the House of Commons and the House of Lords in the UK Parliament. He is a well-known trainer and campaigner for better PMH care within the Maternity Services. He has made many appearances on Radio and Television to raise awareness on the importance of addressing mental health conditions during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Her particular area of interest is research and clinical care aimed at enhancing the brain development and gut health of high risk babies, and is focused on factors such as nutrition, in particular essential lipids of the mother and new-born infants in relation to their developmental and health outcomes.

Sharon is a very experienced Lactation Consultant and has worked with hundreds of parents to resolve feeding issues – from birth to older babies. She helps parents to consider all the options available to them – breastfeeding, formula feeding and combination feeding. Her kind and friendly approach helps parents develop their own tailor-made feeding plan according to their family needs. She has three young children of her own, who have helped teach her that every child is different and that each mother-and–baby pair is unique.

Dr Ria Clarke is a specialist trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has worked in Intensive Care, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine and Sexual Health before deciding on a career in Women’s Health. Ria has recently given birth to her first child – after a difficult pregnancy during which she experienced severe nausea and vomiting, she has developed an interest in the treatment of Hyperemesis Gravidarum and hopes to develop this further on her return to work.

He is Director of the West London Menopause and PMS Centre at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals, he heads a busy clinical and research team. At Imperial College London, he is recognised as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer. He is interested in the hormonal aspects of postnatal anxiety and depression and oversees the provision of counselling services through a MDT psychologist.

She attended our antenatal classes and just gave birth to her first baby, a boy!

David specialises in anaesthetics and intensive care.  He works on busy labour wards in South London; and is involved in the management of pain relief during labour, including epidurals.  He has also cares for women undergoing emergency and elective caesarean sections. And More importantly he recently attended our Antenatal Classes and his first child was born this week!
